Burcas is going Nuclear!!
Posted : Fri 22nd Jan 2010 @ 10:21Following a series of confidential meetings with a number of major nuclear suppliers regarding the problems they have experienced sourcing highly complex safety critical components which could be accommodated by Burcas and its manufacturing supply chain.
Burcas is an aerospace accredited manufacturer who is close to achieving an SC21 award who believes that nuclear components can only be manufactured by companies of this standing.
Mr. Mike Burrows, Managing Director of Burcas Ltd. Said “The engineering and manufacturing talent of Burcas is outstanding and it is positioned today to take advantage of new opportunities at a time when our traditional customers in the aerospace sector are scaling back.”
The Nuclear industry is set for resurgence in the UK and around the world. Building a new fleet of reactors in the UK will generate billions of pounds of business, and with 70% of manufacturing work for Britain’s new fleet of nuclear power stations up for grabs, it’s an excellent opportunity for Burcas to refocus their capabilities.
